Breyer Pays Respects to Departed Colleague in Yale Speech

In a talk he gave at Yale Law School on Feb. 17, Justice Stephen Breyer opened his remarks with a moment of silence for Antonin Scalia, who passed away the previous weekend.

Breyer, who let his appearance be filmed, called Justice Scalia “a good friend” and “a life-force at the court.”

“It’s going to be a grayer place without him,” Breyer added. “We’re all say at this moment.”
