Fix the Court’s Gabe Roth took part in a panel discussion at Boston’s Kennedy Institute yesterday on how Supreme Court term limits can be achieved via federal legislation.

The other panelists were Charles Fried, Akhil Amar and Kimberly Atkins Stohr. Judge Patti Saris acted as moderator, and the event video is below. 

The American Academy of Arts & Sciences convened the panel in honor of a new report from its bipartisan U.S. Supreme Court Working Group titled “The Case for Supreme Court Term Limits,” which examines how 18-year tenure limits for the justices could be enacted without a constitutional amendment.
