FTC Submits FOIA Request to DOJ for E-mails with Ginni Thomas
Fix the Court has submitted FOIA requests to the Justice Department requesting any correspondence Ginni Thomas may have had with DOJ officials pursuant to the 2020 presidential election and related events in its aftermath (i.e., Jan. 6).
Ginni is already known to have been texting with White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, pushing dangerous conspiracy theories.
Specifically, we have asked that Jeffrey Rosen, who served as Acting Attorney General from Dec. 24, 2020, to Jan. 20, 2021; Richard Donoghue, who served as Acting Deputy Attorney General from Dec. 24, 2020, to Jan. 20, 2021 and Jeffrey B. Clark who served as Assistant Attorney General of the Environment and Natural Resources Division from November 1, 2018 to January 14, 2021, and as Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division from September 3, 2020 to January 14, 2021, be considered likely custodians of any records that might exist for the purposes of the request.
At this time there has been no estimate provided for when these searches will be completed.
