This is a stat that would have been unthinkable just a few months ago, and yet it’s happening now as a matter of routine.

Every U.S court of appeals – yes, some needing prodding from us – made the call to livestream due to the pandemic, and everyone is still livestreaming, even as some of the in-person restrictions from earlier in the pandemic have been relaxed.

That’s the Ninth Circuit (see screenshot at right) – and nine other circuit courts!

This is a testament to the ease with which livestreaming can occur, the commitment circuit staff has to making the technology work and the importance to the general public to be able to engage with their government via modern technology.
