The Final Batch of Kavanaugh's Independent Counsel Documents Has Arrived

Fix the Court has obtained the final batch of Judge Kavanaugh’s files at the Office of Independent Counsel pursuant to our FOIA lawsuit, posted here and beginning at row 103.

The memo excerpted in the 2010 book, The Death of American Virtue: Clinton vs. Starr, is in today’s production in row 209. That includes the now-famous Kavanaugh lines, “The president has disgraced his office, the legal system and the American people by having sex with a 22-year-old intern and turning her life into a shambles. […] He has tried to disgrace [Starr] and this Office with a sustained propaganda campaign that would make Nixon blush.”

As has been reported, further salaciousness follows.

For good measure, row 113 includes a memo about a Rod Rosenstein recusal and row 138 is on an FBI obstruction of justice investigation.

Finally, thanks to our other FOIA lawsuit vs. DOJ, and in case you missed it, on Friday we received files from the agency that suggest Kavanaugh – while he was staff secretary – worked on Bush administration’s warrantless wiretapping, or at least the public spin of it.

Those documents are here.
