Fix the Court executive director Gabe Roth released this statement following word that Justice Neil Gorsuch would be giving a talk at Trump International Hotel in D.C. next month (President Trump will be a frequent litigant before the justices in the upcoming term):

As much as this offense is a mark against the integrity of Justice Gorsuch – remember, he just told the country during his confirmation hearings he’d follow the letter and spirit of all judicial ethics protocols – it’s also an embarrassment for Chief Justice John Roberts, who has the authority – and the responsibility – to discourage his colleagues from participating in these types of events.
