Feeling as if Judge Gorsuch was a tad evasive with his answers during his hearing, some Judiciary Committee senators submitted written questions to him last week, and answers came back today.

The one most relevant to Fix the Court was the following one on ethics that we fed to Sen. Leahy, and you can see for yourself how the nominee brushed it aside:

Side note: if Congress passed a law requiring the Supreme Court to abide by the judicial code of conduct, who would have standing to challenge its constitutionality? You can’t imagine the justices suing in federal court over this, can you?
