The Economist Asks, "Is It a Bad Thing to Have Old Judges?"
In a post discussing the pros and cons of term limits for Supreme Court justices, The Economist‘s Steven Mazie criticizes some of our reasoning behind why the justices should have term limits and yet ends his piece by reaching a point that’s similar to our own conclusion.
“Breathing new life into the nation’s highest court more often,” he writes, “would bring more dynamism to the judiciary [and] narrow, even if only slightly, the yawning gap between the enrobed ones and everyday citizens.”
