FTC executive director Gabe Roth release the following statement after protesters disrupted the Supreme Court courtroom while the justices were in session for the third time in just over a year. The protesters also secretly videotaped the outburst.

While Fix the Court advocates for changes to Supreme Court policies that would open up the institution to more Americans, secret videotaping and unprovoked harangues have no place in the high court.

Whatever your views on the justices themselves or the results they reach in various cases, standing up in court and yelling in their general direction only hinders efforts to make the court more transparent.
