Supreme Court justices don’t publicize their appearances outside of the courtroom, leaving those of us interested in what they have to say about law and society scrambling. Luckily, there’s a new resource called SCOTUSMap that tracks the nine as they travel across the U.S. and the world. But that’s only half the solution. If we can’t travel to a justice’s talk, we’d at least like to have a media account of that event.
Here’s where you come in. If you see a justice event in your area, simply e-mail the Associated Press and ask them to send a reporter.
Put “Supreme Court justice event coming soon” in the subject line, and be sure to include the details in the body.
That way we’ll have a record of what the justices say when they’re espousing their views on various aspects of their job and the law.
